Senior Living Executive Magazine, one of the industry’s most reputable publications for insight into the senior living industry, recently featured a profile on Traci Taylor-Roberts, President of Sodalis Senior Living. The story highlights how Taylor-Roberts’ close ties to her grandmother helped forge a bond that carries through her every day work with Sodalis.

Traci Taylor-Roberts, chief executive officer, Sodalis Senior Living, said what’s unique about her career trajectory to head a growing senior living company is that she’s been in the senior living line of work since she was really young, formally and informally.

“I don’t know anything else. So, I think that’s probably part of it,” she said. An active member of the Argentum Women in Leadership (WIL) group, Taylor-Roberts points to her family as the source of her attraction to the profession.

“I think what prepared me for this job, frankly, was when I was a kid, I went to a church, and they were all old people, except for my parents, because my grandmother went there, so we took her, and everybody in the church was actually born before 1900,” she said.
