Sodalis Senior Living Celebrates 20 Years of Premiere Person-Centered Care in Texas
January 22, 2018 – COLLEGE STATION, TX — Sodalis, a leader in assisted living and memory care facilities designed for today’s seniors, celebrates its 20th anniversary by breaking ground on three new state-of-the-art facilities in 2018 and adding industry-first amenities to its communities.
Today’s Baby-Boomer seniors are unique. They’re comfortable with technology like smartphones, they enjoy good food and wine and are more interested than previous generations in health and wellness. Sodalis Senior Living marks its 20th anniversary with its most ambitious plan yet – breaking ground on three new facilities that will respond to the evolving preferences and needs of today’s senior.
Existing and future Sodalis Senior Living and Memory Care communities are designed to be less institutional and more home-like to better respond to the changing needs of seniors. To provide a luxurious, at-home experience, apartments and common spaces are modern, bright and spacious. Water features set the stage in some common areas. Chef-prepared meals in Green-Certified kitchens are healthy, wholesome and delicious. Additional amenities throughout the locations include:
- Laundry and linen service
- Spa-like salon
- Wine bar
- A pet-friendly environment
- A seven-day-per-week engagement, wellness and lifestyle program
- Daily social engagement and volunteering opportunities
- Transportation to medical appointments and in-town shopping
- 24-hour emergency system and a round-the-clock nurse
Sodalis will add a Chief Technology Officer to the Executive Team in 2018. It’s an industry-first position that will implement more engagement with technology and connectivity for both seniors and staff.
Sodalis Senior Living has nine communities in Texas: Buda, Dripping Springs, Garden Ridge, New Braunfels, Prosper, Stone Oak (new), San Marcos, Victoria and Waco. Three additional communities in College Station, Deer Park and Leander will break ground in 2018 and open in early 2019. The Sodalis executive team is planning to add between three to five additional communities over the next five to seven years across the U.S. in target locations.
“We are committed to creating compassionate, intimate and state-of- the-art assisted living and memory care communities and are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring our intention to new communities.” – Shawn Corzine, CEO of Sodalis Senior Living
